THE POWER OF VOLUNTARISM: A disaster survival skills and Volunteering skills training volunteer house
Responsibility-Experimental-Commercial Design project
A design for developing and training volunteers and help to spread out the voluntarism power, help to train survival skills during the disaster, testing shelters that will be used for rescuing during natural disasters.

Location: The Row KL building, 22-64, Jalan Doraisamy, Chow Kit, 50300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur - North block
Clients: National Disaster management Agency (NADMA) and IKEA Damansara 
Target Users: 
1.Malaysia designers/ architects 
2.NGOs and their stakeholders that work under theme of public/ communities accommodation, relief shelter design 
3.IKEA members
4.Elders/ Children/ Disabilities who need supporting from NGOs or IKEA foundation service
5.Education trip for schools, organizations want to train survival skills for their students, staffs during disaster
6.Volunteer who want to train in voluntary work in disaster areas

VISION: 
Project is under category of Public Community Design Project
“The power of Volunteerism” that will be able to comfort and relief all the loss from for Malaysian during disaster.
MISSION: 
The project is planned to be a testing laboratory and a disaster training for voluntary work, testing community living experience in stimulate flash floods, fire  which part of the research of new relief shelter design for flood victims during and after flood disasters to help them can know how, why the shelters are made, are developed and produced as well as know what is their rights when disasters happen. Also the project is planned to create the welfare and customer support center that will be hold by NADMA and IKEA foundation and also create the spaces for help raising awareness about hygienic in flood disaster and communication toward disaster victim communities.
AIMS:
Help Malaysian have chance to experience, evaluate and understand what they can receive from temporary accommodation response from Govern and IKEA foundation and from that build up the trust since they can see and feel by themselves directly how the relief shelters work.
Create the cultural spaces for community to reduce the pattern of business 
Training Malaysian volunteer, designers, architects communities who lacking safety skills in natural disasters flood, storms, fires 
Recruiting and training for voluntary works in disaster areas
